Before anything else develops between them, Carmen finds a way to seperate the two. Growing up, Ding seeks out Dee for a second time and they fall for one another. But their affair is short-lived, as the people surrounding them orchestrate to seperate them - permanently this time
As Ding struggles between the role he play in society and the carnal desires that devour him, he creates a world of his own, one beyond the pretenses of propriety, civility and morality
