“Beautiful” deals with Eminem’s different feelings and impressions, ranging from depression about his fame and career to more upbeat and inspirational concepts, similar to “Lose Yourself.” It’s also worth noting that Eminem started writing “Beautiful” when he was in rehab then finished it when he was sober, which may explain the stark contrast in the lyrics in comparison with the other songs from Relapse. At the end of the song, the line goes “To all my babies, stay strong. Daddy will be home soon.” This line refers to Eminem’s daughter Hailie, adopted niece Alaina, and step-daughter Whitney
